Husain Alkhafajy, Alitijah correspondent told Press Freedom Advocacy\nAssociation in Iraq that both he and his colleague Hani Alfaris, correspondent\nfor Alahad satellite channel, headed towards the site for coverage and were halted\nby the company\u2019s security staff for more than fifteen minutes with no\nreasonable excuse. Then they were denied entrance and coverage. They added that\nthe permission was granted exclusively to Iraqia Media Network since it is the\nonly public channel representing the government. Thus we were demanded to leave\nthe place at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Press Freedom Advocacy Association in Iraq condemns the aforementioned\nincident that both colleagues have witnessed by the oil-Institutional security\nforces.\n\nThe\nassociation demands that the institutional security command and ministries of\noil and interior not to set any limitations upon journalism in Iraq and adopt equal\nstandards among all media performing bodies in the country.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
