Raad\nSalim, Correspondent for Almarbid was subjected to a gas canister attack on\nSunday in Thi Qar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nrepresentative of Press Freedom Advocacy Association in Iraq said that Raad\nSalim was standing in front of the education Directorate in Thi Qar to cover\nthe ongoing protests in the province where he was affected by a surge of gas\ncanisters directed by the security forces in an attempt to disperse the\ndemonstrations leaving him in severe suffocation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the\ntime that Press Freedom Advocacy Association in Iraq wishes our colleagues a\nhasty recovery, it calls on the security forces to oblige to protecting the\ndemonstrators and media personnel.
