Ali\nAldhabhawy, member of Baghdadiya Board told Press Freedom Advocacy Association\nthat the channel\u2019s cameraman UdayUqab was requested to cover the ongoing\nprotests that are taking place at Atayaran Square in Baghdad then suddenly\nshelled with a smoke canester that fell nearby injuring his arm; the media-man\nwas urgently referred to a near hospital for treatment.\n\nAt the time that the Press Freedom Advocacy\nAssociation wishes a hastened recovery for Uqab, it reminds all media personnel\nto adopt safety measures when carrying out press duties especially concerning\nprotests coverage and to take caution by seeking protected positions for\ncoverage.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
