Haider\nAlmozany, Almarbid Correspondent was subjected to a severe suffocation\ncondition in the protests of Basra on Tuesday<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through a\nphone call, Haider Almozany told Press Freedom Advocacy Association in Iraq\nthat he was on the protests spot in order to cover the ongoing events, whereas\nthe security forces were firing gas canisters to disperse the protestors. He\nwas suffocating and immediately drew the attention of the medical emergency\npersonnel who were present on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the\ntime that Press Freedom Advocacy Association wishes safety and recovery for our\ncolleague Haider Almozany, it considers this incident a violation and\nobstruction to media function that conveys reality to public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
