Al-Iraqiya TV reporter Iman Mohammed was verbally assaulted on the demonstration grounds of Babylon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Iman told Press Freedom Advocacy Associationin Iraq that she was on a press mission to convey the events of the demonstrations in the province, and a group of demonstrators there and during the cover-up verbally assaulted her, after accusing her of working against them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Iman said she had to stop the coverage and leave the scene immediately. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Association condemns what ImanMohammed suffered, and considers this a violation of the freedom of journalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The association also calls on all demonstrators to open the way for the press to perform its duties and to minimize the risks to journalists in the protest arena.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
