Student groups at Dhi Qar University\nprevented al-Iraqiya TV staff from covering on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The coordinator of Press Freedom\nAdvocacy Association in Iraq said that al-Iraqia TV reporter Mohammed al-Hilali\nand cameraman Asaad Mohammed Sadiq were on an official mission to cover the\nreturn of official study at Dhi Qar University. The staff was denied coverage and\nwas forced to leave due to opposition by student groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A video, circulated on social media,\nshows students gathering on campus this morning, accusing Iraqia staff of\ncorruption and working for a party working against them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Association, which condemns the incident\nal-Iraqia TV staff was subjected to in Dhi Qar, considers it a journalistic\nviolation and a restriction on the movement of the media and the press in the\ncountry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The association also calls on Iraqi\nstudents to understand the profession of journalism and to allow the media to\nperform its professional duties.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
