{"id":4465,"date":"2020-09-03T12:58:45","date_gmt":"2020-09-03T09:58:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pfaa-iq.com\/?p=4465"},"modified":"2020-09-06T13:00:09","modified_gmt":"2020-09-06T10:00:09","slug":"asia-banned-by-al-suqour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pfaa-iq.com\/?p=4465","title":{"rendered":"Asia banned by Al-Suqour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"s8\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">3\/9\/2020<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s7\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Police officers in al-<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Saqour<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">checkpoint <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">prevented a reporter and cameraman from entering Anbar province to perform their work <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Thursday<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> morning.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s7\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Press Freedom<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> Advocacy Association in Iraq<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> learned from colleagues in the channel that their correspondent Mohammed Al-<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Farid<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> was with <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">cameraman<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Alaa<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> Jabbar this morning heading towards the city of <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Habbaniyah<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">in Anbar, to highlight the recreational places in the area and <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">its <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">security, and as soon as they arrived at the entrances to the province <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">; Al-<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Suqour<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> checkpoint<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">, the police officers <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">denied <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">them<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> entrance<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> and coverage, and demanded a book from the Anbar operations command to allow them to enter the province, although they had told them that they were journalists and <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">presented their IDs<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s7\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">While condemning the ban on staff members from their work, Press Freedom <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Advocacy Association in Iraq considers such actions as <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">a violation of the principles of freedom of journalism in the country.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">The association calls on <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">A<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">nbar&#8217;s security leaders to <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">enable<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> press and media <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">in<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> carry<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">ing<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> out their work <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">and<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">conveying the latest security situation on ground, cooperating with them to facilitate the performance of their duties, the need to abide by the constitution and the principles of the law, which allow<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">s<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> the press to work without any restrictions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>3\/9\/2020 Police officers in al-Saqour checkpoint prevented a reporter and cameraman from entering Anbar province to perform their work Thursday morning.
