{"id":4503,"date":"2020-09-16T16:58:59","date_gmt":"2020-09-16T13:58:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pfaa-iq.com\/?p=4503"},"modified":"2020-09-30T17:01:10","modified_gmt":"2020-09-30T14:01:10","slug":"missile-strike-damages-zagros-satellite-channel-office-in-baghdad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pfaa-iq.com\/?p=4503","title":{"rendered":"Missile strike damages Zagros Satellite Channel office in Baghdad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"s9\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s8\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">16\/9\/2020<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s10\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">The Office of the <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s10\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Zakros<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s10\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> Channel was damaged by a rocket attack on the Green Zone.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s10\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Press Freedom <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s10\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Advocacy Association in Iraq<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s10\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> learned from the channel&#8217;s correspondent Mohammed al-<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s10\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Qaisi<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s10\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">that the rockets may have targeted the Green Zone, not the <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s10\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">channel<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s10\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">, but caused serious damage when it landed near <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s10\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Z<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s10\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">akros<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s10\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> channel building, which is located inside the government compound, without causing any human casualties.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s10\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">While the association wishes safety to the colleagues working for the channel, it holds the government and its security services responsible for protecting the media and its employees, especially since this type of targeting constitutes a flagrant violation of the freedom of journalistic work.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s11\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s10\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">The association also calls on the interior minister to put an end to repeated targeting of the media and its staff.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>16\/9\/2020 The Office of the Zakros Channel was damaged by a rocket attack on the Green Zone.
