Ali Najim, correspondent for Al-Ishraq Satellite Channel sustained moderate injuries during his coverage of the military operations of liberating Anbar. His leg was injured as quoted by his companions, due to a mortar in Ramadi. They added that Ali is suffering from severe pain and is still attended by the staff in al-Habbaniya, and he would be transferred to Baghdad as soon as possible.
At the time that Press Freedom Advocacy in Iraq expresses its support to Ali Najim , it demands that all channels send war correspondents who are trained according to international standards to the battle fields and that our colleagues be cautious and alert.
